Da Lat city's attractive tourist destinations

Located about 8km from the center of Da Lat city, Puppy Farm is an ideal destination for pet lovers. You will have the opportunity to play with cute dogs all day and explore the gardens. Pham Thi Thuy Van is the manager of Puppy Farm.

“Visiting Puppy Farm, you can play with the dogs and visit our gardens and flower hills. We have invested in this farm model for more than ten years, most importantly selecting and breeding good dogs,” Van said.

There are many puppies at Puppy Farm, from Corgis to friendly Huskies.

“The dogs are divided into two areas. One is for the bigger dogs with long fur – the Samoyeds and Huskies. These dogs are very friendly and nice, so the visitors really love to play and take photos with them. The second area is for the smaller dogs with short fur. All of them are adorable and extremely friendly,” said Manager Van.

Puppy Farm Da Lat has only been open for a short time, but it has become popular with young people. The farm has more than 100 dogs, and each is attractive, clean, and gentle.

“I love dogs. This is my first time here, and I really enjoy playing with the dogs. The dogs here are super cute and friendly. Besides playing and taking photos with the dogs, I also enjoy visiting the flower and vegetable gardens here,” said La Thi Uyen, a visitor from the southern province of Binh Duong.

Huynh Cong Thuong, who takes care of the dogs at Puppy Farm, said, “Safety is the most important factor here and then hygiene. All the dogs have regular health checks and vaccinations. They are also regularly bathed. We only select the friendly kinds of dogs here.”

Manager Van further elaborated on how the dogs are cared of and how safety are secured at Puppy Farm, “We work with an animal hospital to take care of our dogs. All the dogs here receive special care and are fully vaccinated, so visitors can play with them without worrying.  We make sure that our dogs are always in good condition.”

“Our staff are trained to deal with visitors, and every child under six must be accompanied by an adult when they play with the dogs,” Van said.

Next to Puppy Farm is a colorful flower garden reminiscent of Da Lat.

“Hills full of lavender, daisies, and sunflowers stretch over 10 hectares. We also have a fresh green vegetable garden where we grow specialties of Da Lat like strawberries, pumpkins, and cherry tomatoes. These juicy red strawberries and these beautiful little cherry tomatoes look wonderful, don’t they?” said Van.

Visitor Thu Hang and her daughter really enjoyed Puppy Farm. “My daughter, who is only 16 months old, loves it here. This farm is a great place for families with children. The children can play with the dogs and explore the gardens,” Hang said.

Visitors can buy clean Da Lat specialties like strawberries, jackfruit, and sweet potatoes as gifts, but these delicious treats are no substitute for spending a few delightful hours here in person.

When you visit Da Lat, don’t miss Da Lat Fairy Tale Land, which is as beautiful as a fairy world. It was voted one of the top 20 tourist attractions in Vietnam in 2019.

In the garden, you will see scenes straight out of a fairy tale. Exploring Da Lat Fairy Tale Land will be an unforgettable experience.

“Fairy Tale Land is very eye-catching. There are many different varieties of  flowers in bloom. I enjoy visiting the houses in the fairy village and especially the wine cellar here. This is a fun place for families or groups of friends to visit and explore. I can’t describe how beautiful this place is,” Nguyen Van Toan of Dak Lak province said.

Da Lat FairyTale Land features a picturesque setting designed for lovers of the mythical world. Visitors will feel like they’re returning to a fairy tale they heard when they were young.

Da Lat FairyTale Land is also known as the kingdom of the dwarfs, because it has 18 tiny houses. The construction of Da Lat FairyTale Land village was inspired by the Hobbit Village in Matamata, Waikato in northern New Zealand. The head of this fairy tale village, Mrs Van, who is just 1.2 m tall, warmly welcomes visitors.

“I am head of this village. There are 18 houses here, each with a different story. After visiting all the houses here, you can visit our garden and wine cellar,” said Van.

Da Lat Fairy Tale Land sits on a  pine covered hill in a wonderfully beautiful setting. When they step into the garden, visitors become immersed in another world. Every scenes recalls a fairy tale. You will feel like you’re in Disneyland.

“Da Lat Fairy Tale Land was inspired by the Hobbit Village in New Zealand – the place where “Lord of the Rings” was filmed. Each house has a story – It’s the house of a lady, a bar, a tea shop, or the home of dwarfs,” said Tran Hoai Nam, Head of Marketing Da Lat Fairy Tale Land.

The Watch Tower, a village landmark, is the workplace of two twin dwarf brothers and a sentimental lady.

The impressive Vinh Tien wine cellar holds more than 15,000 bottles of wine. It is a  luxurious space where visitors can sample the wine.

“I was amazed to discover the biggest wine cellar in Da Lat at Fairy Tale Land. I was also impressed by the dreamy fairy garden. Each house is a separate sightseeing experience providing one surprise after another. The European-style village with its colorful flowers creates a peaceful setting, ” said Ngoc Hai, a visitor from Hanoi.

Da Lat Fairy Tale Land also features a Live Acoustic Music show and gourmet food. Watching dwarfs knitting and dropping pennies into the wishing lake is amusing, and there are many other activities, such as night camping and team building.

“We are really happy that so many people know about and visit Da Lat Fairy Tale Land. We wanted to create a tourist attraction that allow us to introduce and promote the many specialties of Da Lat,” Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, director of Da Lat Fairy Tale Land, said.
