Vietnamese Paintings with Traditional Materials Displayed in France

An exhibition showcasing 50 traditional artworks made by alumni of fine arts universities in France and Vietnam is currently on display. The artworks, created on traditional materials such as poonah paper, silk, wood, and lacquer, aim to highlight diverse aspects of daily life and religious beliefs in both countries.

Nghiem Xuan Dong, director of the Vietnam Culture Centre in France, expressed that this exhibition offers a valuable opportunity for international friends to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture.

The event is part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties (1973-2023) and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership (2013-2023). The exhibition will continue until July 19.
