Vietnamese Prime Minister Makes Trip to Brazil’s Leading Football Team

The purpose of his visit to the club was to enhance collaboration in the realm of football between the two nations.

Corinthians, established in 1910, is a prestigious football club renowned for its numerous accomplishments. It has solidified its position as one of the most well-known sports clubs in Brazil and Latin America.

During a meeting with the club’s leadership, Prime Minister Chinh expressed that Brazil is well-known among many Vietnamese people for its distinctive Latin American culture. Additionally, he highlighted Brazil’s significant economic prowess, with a gross domestic product nearing US$2 trillion, placing it among the world’s top economies.

The Vietnamese people have a profound love for football and hold great admiration for Brazilian football. It is worth mentioning that the Brazil men’s national football team, fondly known as Selecao, has consistently emerged victorious in the World Cup, owing to their exceptional attacking style.

Some of the legendary players hailing from Brazil include Pele, Romario, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Rivaldo.
